This guide assumes you have already communicated with Brilliant to set up a Remote automation for your account.

Create a Remote access token

  1. Log in as an admin user or company owner

  2. On Remote dashboard, go to Company -> Company Settings -> Integrations & APIs -> Integrations.

  3. Click on the Remote API card.

  4. Click on either the Generate API token button.

  5. A popup will open to ask you for the API token name.
    In order to generate the access token, you also have to agree with the Remote API Terms of Use.

  6. After creating an API token, you will see a table with all the tokens linked to the company, including the new active access token you just created.

Connect Brilliant

After we have enabled the Remote automation for your account, your Brilliant team will reach out to let you know you're ready for the final leg of your Remote automation setup. You can now integrate with Brilliant by following the steps below:

  1. Login to Brilliant using your email address and password.

  2. On the lefthand side of the page, navigate to the Automations page of the store you wish to connect the automation to via Storefront -> Your Store to Connect -> Automations.

  1. Find the Remote automation you requested from Brilliant and click "Connect". From here, you will be brought to a new tab where you can provide authentication and configure the automation.

  2. You will be asked for your account information for Remote. Please enter your access token. You can update your credentials through your dashboard by clicking the edit button or reach out to Brilliant for assistance.
