Salesforce: Recommended Reports
After completing the initial Brilliant x Salesforce Set Up you will be able to report on Gifting Data directly in Salesforce. Below are some of the reports we recommend setting up. You can add and remove columns based on what makes the most sense for your business use case. Your implementation team can also help talk through any additional reporting needs.
Gifts by Send Status
This report will help easily see all gifts grouped by their current send status to gauge success and or keep track of gifts that may require some additional follow up.
Report Type: Brilliant Gifts
Group Rows: For/Send Status
Filters: All Brilliant Gifts, All Time
Columns: Contact, Brilliant Gift: Created Date, Brilliant Gift: Gift Name
Gifts by Order Status
This report will help with staying up to date on where in the fulfillment and delivery process gifts are so that users can stay up to date on where their recipients gifts are and follow up when they are delivered.
Report Type: Brilliant Gifts
Group Rows: For/Send Status
Filters: All Brilliant Gifts, All Time
Columns: Contact, Brilliant Gift: Created Date, Brilliant Gift: Gift Name
Gift by Contact Owner
With this report contact owners can easily see all their contact’s gifts with their current statuses. This can also be used by Sales Managers to keep track of who is sending out gifts when and where. Since this report looks at both the Gift and Contact object you can pull in fields from either object.
Report Type: Brilliant Gifts with Contact
Group Rows: Contact: Contact Owner
Filters: All Brilliant Gifts, All Time
Columns: Contact: Last Name, Order Status, For/Send Status, Brilliant Gift: Created Date, Brilliant Gift: Gift Name
Brilliant Gifts by Account
Using the same report type as the previous report you can also group gifts by Account. This can be done using the Account Name on the Contact Object. This will help Sales Teams see what Accounts are being most targeted by gifting as well as the gift statuses all in one place.

Group Rows: Contact: Account Name
Filters: All Brilliant Gifts, All Time
Columns: Contact: Contact Owner, Last Name, Order Status, For/Send Status, Brilliant Gift: Created Date, Brilliant Gift: Gift Name
