Setup

Connecting a Brilliant Automation to your Hubspot instance is a simple OAuth connection. To start the progress simply visit the Automations page in your Brilliant dashboard and click connect on the Hubspot Automation.

How it Works

When working with Hubspot there are a few options for triggering sends.  We will provide our best recommendation for the triggered sends after learning about your desired outcome.

Using Hubspot Workflows

You can trigger a Brilliant Campaign based on any trigger in Hubspot. Simply set up your workflow in Hubspot, choose ‘Send a Webhook’, grab the webhook generated listed on your Brilliant Hubspot Automation, paste it in under method ‘Post’, and activate.

Once your new webhook is triggered Brilliant will receive the contacts information, they will be added to your Brilliant Preferred Gift Campaign, and updates back from Brilliant can be pushed to the Hubspot Contact’s activity feed, an associated Campaign, or any other field you wish to be updated.

The details of should be updated in Hubspot will be determined during the implementation phase of building your Automation and will be outlined for you before the Automation is enabled.
